RADIO PLAYS: PBTC RADIO SHOW AIMS TO LET COMEDY AND DRAMA SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES
(excerpt)
Scott C. Morgan, City Weekly, October 29, 1998
Frequently they're good. Occasionally they're bad. But what is guaranteed in any production by Plan-B Theatre Company is something theatrically different. The PBTC Radio Show is no exception.
By itself, the driving concept behind The PBTC Radio Show is a noble one. Directors Cheryl Ann Cluff and Mark Cantor wanted to create a show reminding audiences of the ability of sound and untapped imagination to create comedy and drama. They reasoned that, in our age, where images are constantly spoon-fed to us, we should be allowed to create our own.
You can't deny the unabashed fun that can be found in The PBTC Radio Show. While it is not perfect, The PBTC Radio Show is something distinctively different. Although it doesn't approach greatness, there is much good to be found in this show and theater company prided on being different.
